SUN PICKZ™ were created quite accidentally. I was visiting family in California and brought my travel guitar. After pulling it out I realized, of course, no pick. It was time for necessity to be the mother of invention. Next to me was a box of Puffs. I thought Cardboard will have to do as a pick. So I ripped off a corner and randomly strummed the serrated edge against the strings. It was rough, but I clearly heard a unique sound. I then made a pencil sketch, put it in my wallet, and proceeded on with California. Upon returning home, I was off and running. I took a standard pick, and with nail clippers, serrated the edge all the way around. After a few strums, I knew I was on to something great. The rest of the story includes a lot of trial and error and experimenting, until SUN PICKZ™ were born. Simple, Unique, Sensational.

My goal then and now is to offer SUN PICKZ™ to everyone and to have SUN PICKZ™ available everywhere. Seems reasonable.
